Job description: the Midshipman can be considered little better than a regular pirate but for lack of someone better, may occasionally be given the chance to battle navigate. The Midshipman must also enroll in the Knight School for the Theory Of Piratical Mayhem and is expected to meet certain standards if he or she wishes to rise out of the morass which is synonymous with the lower orders.
Requirements: same as pirate plus neophyte in battle navigation.
